The coup attempt that happened on January 6, 2021 inspired by Trump was the tree that broke the camel’s back. If you have followed my Facebook posts over the years, you know I don’t refer to him as Trump but 45. Today, I will use his name and the term Trumpism in an attempt to define a broader concept of the extreme right movement. The sickness of Racism has been at the root of the American experience since its inception. The phenomenon of Fascism from 1933 to 1945, manifested in Germany under the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler spread to America after the defeat of Hitler and the Nazi regime in 1945. The believers of Fascism fled Germany seeking refuge throughout the world. America was just one of the countries in which they established new roots. Fascism and Racism found a profound fundamental kinship in their ideological beliefs in White Supremacy. This ideological partnership existed just beneath the surface of the American society from 1945 until today. Violently challenging the laws of the Constitution to create permanent underclasses of the Indigenous and African Americans. Murder, rape, lynching, burning, shooting, disenfranchisement, and all forms of intimidation were the methods they found commonality in their quest to demonstrate their self conceived superiority. During Trumps reign, the terms Trumpism and alt-right were used to identify his movement. I believe words matter and they must be clearly defined. I believe Trumpism and the alt-right should be more property described from a more truthful and historical perspective, (American Fascism). These American Fascists are now domestic terrorists and pose the greatest threats to our fragile democracy at this time in our history. It took the unified efforts of the world to end Fascism in Germany and it will take the same effort to extinguish American Fascism from the United States of America. These American Fascists are in every facet of our society in the highest levels of government, the White House, both the Senate and House of Representatives, the Pentagon, the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, capital police, state police, city police, sheriff’s departments, doctors, lawyers, professors, teachers, preachers, priests, farmers, urban dwellers, rural dwellers, auto workers government workers and perhaps your neighbors. You’ll know them by their arrogant expressions of superiority. I believe they will continue their violent attacks on our democracy and its people until defeated and brought to justice. Trump may leave the White House however, American Fascism is alive, well and dangerously embedded in our society. They’ve always singled out individual groups of people, Jews, Indigenous Americans, African Americans, Mexican Americans and many immigrant groups, now they’ve chosen to attack, “We the People” collectively. Trumpism is American Fascism an autocratic white supremacy cult which struck the first violent blow against “We the People” and Democracy on January 6, 2021. The propaganda by American Fascists devoured by their followers have sealed out the truth. They will continue their violence. To have peace it takes two parties to agree it was not peace they were seeking at the Capital. There is no doubt after January 6, 2021 American Fascists wanted to destroy peace and Democracy. If you haven’t heard, they’re planning further insurrection on January 17, 18, 19, 20, 2021. They’ve vowed a second Civil War are you prepared for such an event?
