Trumpism is Fascism
Merriam Webster: Fascism – Usage: often Capitalized: A political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and stands for centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation and forcible suppression of opposition.
Merriam Webster: Fascism for Kids: Usage often Capitalized: A political system headed by a dictator in which the government controls business and labor and opposition is not permitted.
I wrote into an article posted on 02/03/2017 titled; The Hardest Political Reality I’ve ever had to face: “Regardless, we are faced with an Administration that resembles a Coup rather than a transfer of Power from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party both founded in Democracy.” I submit to you; what is being proposed is Trumpism and that’s Fascism.
Let’s take Webster’s definition as it applies to a movement. The forth-coming information was taken from (Wikipedia), I use this reference source as it’s used by the authors of the internet as an excepted source of intellectual evolution.
Tea Party:
The movement opposes government-sponsored universal healthcare[3] and has been described as a mixture of libertarian,[ populist, and conservative activism. It has sponsored multiple protests and supported various political candidates since 2009.According
to the American Enterprise Institute, various polls in 2013 estimate that slightly over 10 percent of Americans identify as part of the movement.
In November 2008 Barak Obama was elected 44th President of the United States of America. This Historical event in my opinion is what ignited the movement that vowed to totally obstruct the political agenda of the 44th President of the United States of America. Note: (This group was only used to fuel Trumpism by exploiting their hatreds, however there primarily focus was anti Obama.)
Moreover, the Tea Party fractured the Republican Party resulting in a split, the extreme right wing republicans’ vs moderates. However, right wing or moderate they were in lock step against the 44th President of the United State of America. Their were some elected officials in the Democratic Party at times chose to distance themselves from the President when he was being racially attacked from the right. Challenges of a President are totally warranted however; race is not one of them.
Webster goes on to describe Fascism as: exalts nation and often race above the individual. Herr Trump’s signature move was to immediately gravitate to White Nationalist and their leader Steve Bannon and other right wing extremist groups and donors. This theme was carried throughout the Campaign more vividly today. Nationalism is the platform individualism is the opposition.
Webster further describes Fascism: stands for centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader: The thought process for anyone attempting to be a dictator must have a severe case of arrogance. Herr Trump’s so chronically focused on himself he thinks he is the government. Dictators must see themselves as the government. King, Emperor, as well as Supreme Ruler is the demeanor moreover, actions of Herr Trump from the onslaught. Note: Herr Trump immediately began to water down the governmentally imposed Department of Ethics upon his assuming office.
Webster continues to define Fascism: severe economic and social regimentation: Among the few accomplishments of Herr Trump’s reign have been the cut to HUD, removal of governmental restraints of local police departments imposed by the Justice Department, sabotaging The Affordable Care Act and offering up Immigration bans which currently are being challenged by the Federal court system. His selection of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court perhaps the most damaging accomplishment because of his potential right wing views being interpreted into the Constitution.
Webster concludes: forcible suppression of opposition. Charlottesville the first bloodshed Heather Heyer killed by 20-year-old James Fields August 14, 2017. The killer a supporter of the event and the victim in opposition to the event sponsored by White Nationalist groups and affiliates. Herr Trump’s response both sides were complicit in the violence resulting from this event. White people take note the victim and killer are both white. Race is just a tool of Fascism the root cause is the desire for absolute power. Such as, Herr Trump who once said: “only I can fix it”. White Nationalism’s governmental structure must be Fascism and what better partner for Herr Trump to have than Russia. One must define who and what he or she is up against before mounting an effective response.
