Operation Warp Speed and You?

Today 45 began a call for a death march.  He said he wanted a vaccine ready “by the end of the year if we can.”  The epidemiologist and medical professional disagree stating it will take up to 12 to 18 months under perfect condition to find a safe vaccine.  He further stated “I think we’re going to have a vaccine in the pretty near future”, the president said.  And if we don’t it’ll be like so many other cases where you had a problem come, it’ll go away at some point, it’ll go away.  “It may flare up and it may it may not flare up.”  That sounds like the rest of the double-talk that’s come out of his pie hole the majority of his public life.   

Covid 19 the enemy, is undefined as to its total capacity to infect the human body.  I’ve heard some say that whether we have a vaccine or not we still have to live our lives.  The question still remains do we live our lives recklessly or with common sense?  45’s claim of a safe vaccine before the end of the year is insane.  You can’t defeat an enemy when you don’t know: how powerful the enemy is or to what extent it has penetrated your defenses.  Opening up your troops to this battle strategy, is perfect for total destruction.  

He’s attempting to make patriots of far right wing fanatics, swastikas and rebel flag waving white nationalist.  He calls them “good people”.   I call them fools.  If they continue to adhere to his calls to believe him and not the facts surrounding Covid 19 they will surely suffer sickness to themselves and others to include many deaths.  

The only defense I have seen this far to fight Covid 19 is PPE and distancing.  There’s no other protection from this enemy and it’s not for certain.  45 is entering the final phase of his madness.  He can’t lie his way forward anymore.  He’s saying if he can’t control the house he will tear it down.  The recent attacks on past President and Vice President Obama and Joe Biden speak directly to his autocratic intentions.   He will continue to abuse the powers of the White House to the extent to his end.  From now until the November elections, he will continue to feed divisive red meat to his base and his surrounding regime appointees.  It will surely get worse before it gets better.    Follow the common sense rules of social distancing and properly using PPE.   I do believe a vaccine will be discovered however, not before the end of the year.  Your focus must be on protecting you and your families and preparing to protect your right to vote.  If you buy into Operation Warp Speed, it will only benefit the rich and powerful at your expense.  They will gain more wealth and power and you will suffer for their gains.  Don’t get caught off guard prepare for the struggles ahead to defend your right to vote, live free and continue the experiment of Democracy.
